Will is Chairperson at Adele House and was appointed to the position in 2018. He has been a Director since 2014.
Will has extensive experience in corporate advisory and financial analysis, with 15 years’ experience in various senior roles within major property and investment management organisations. He also has broad experience within the not-for-profit sector, sitting on a number of community boards and committees. Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University.
Prior to joining the Board, Will was and still continues to be an avid supporter and fundraiser for Adele House.
Dominic has been a Director of Adele House since 2013.
He has over 20 years’ experience spanning public and private sectors in legal, property and commercial roles. Dominic is currently a Director for a property and investment company. He was a former commercial lawyer with the Crown Solicitor’s Office and he also served as Mayor of Randwick City for six years. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons).
Dominic is passionate about the ongoing sustainability of Adele House and the continuing success of its program for rehabilitation.
Maria was appointed as a Director of Adele House in 2014.
Maria has over 30 years’ experience in marketing, communications and project management throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America. Since starting her own business in 2001, she has worked in senior management positions for a number of private, public and educational organisations.
Maria is also involved in Rotary International, a world-wide volunteer organisation, and was previously a board member of the Property Industry Foundation Ball Committee, a charity that raises money for Kids at Risk.
Having been involved in the not-for-profit sector since 2000, Maria is enthusiastic about the future of Adele.
Andrea was appointed as a Director in 2017.
He is an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced leader committed to excellence and making a difference in people’s lives. Andrea is motivated by honesty, fairness and social justice and a desire to enhance the quality of life for the community. He believes in innovation and continuous improvement by implementing an open and collaborative management style.
Andrea completed a Masters of Business Administration in 2010 and led a large multidisciplinary organisation for seven years.
Gerard was appointed to the Adele House board in 2018.
He is the Facilitator and Assessor for Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs(AOD) and has spent the past 27 years working in The Salvation Army Recovery Services, initially in a counseling then as a Program Director, and currently as the Operations Manager for Recovery Services.
Gerard has held board positions on peak bodies such as the Network of Alcohol and Drug Agencies NSW (NADA), Queensland Network of Alcohol and Drug Agencies (QNADA), Alcohol Tobacco Other Drugs Association ACT (ATODA), Australasian Therapeutic Communities Association (ATCA), holding executive positions on most of these boards at some time.
Additionally, Gerard has been a member of the NSW Ministry of Health Withdrawal Management Services review committee, the NSW Ministry of Health Opioid Treatment Program review committee and the Organising Committee for the Australian and New Zealand Addiction Conference 2016.
Richard was appointed as a Director of Adele House in 2017.
His experience in the alcohol and drug sector spans many years. Richard has Accreditations in Alcohol and other Drugs Certificate IV; Mental Health Certificate IV; in addition to being a Grief, Loss and Relationship Counsellor.
He has formerly held roles with the Salvation Army as a Case Worker, Security and Assessment Intake Officer in addition to roles at Adele House as a Case Worker and Program Manager, and more recently Director of Social Services.
Richard is dedicated to increasing the awareness and the ongoing sustainability of Adele House and the continuing success of its program.
